It is vital we spend this funding so as to have maximum impact on the pupils who are entitled to it. We believe providing additional support, particularly at the start of pupils’ time at Wavell (whatever year group that might be in), is crucial to having a positive impact on their educational development and to ensure they do not need to catch up later. Further support is provided for pupils who are vulnerable.  All children in school benefit from the pastoral support that we endeavour to provide through PPG.
